What happens during the Sessions?


The first session will be concerned with finding out about you, and assessing how best to treat your particular problem. The therapeutic approach best suited to you will be discussed with you beforehand.


A range of techniques may be used, as appropriate, such as: relaxation therapy, visualisation, cognitive therapy, NLP (neurolinguistic programming), EMDR (eye movement de-sensitisation reprocessing), transpersonal counselling, guided meditation, dreamwork, working in metaphor, positive suggestion therapy, exploring the family emotional map, age regression and memory integration.


Sessions are interactive and responsive to your needs. The client is in control and dictates the pace. The aim is to help you to help yourself, in other words to empower you to take control of your life and achieve the goals you want.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the nature of your problem and how long you have had it. At the end of the first session, clients should expect to experience some benefits and I should be more clear about how many sessions would be needed to resolve the issue satisfactorily.


Using advanced hypno-psychotherapeutic techniques, change can often occur quickly, in comparison with the slower methods used in many other therapies.
